Since its inception, I've had many requests for information regarding current makers. I'm happy to include a "Current Makers" directory and pages with their messages and photos. If makers, manufacturers, authors, or retailers would like to support our work and be included in this directory, and elsewhere throughout the museum, please contact me.
Following the "Current Makers" directory is a directory of old bagpipes where the bagpipes have been positively identified though a maker's stamp or by other reliable means. We worked with the most knowledgeable people on the planet to ensure that this information and associated pictures was accurate.
Of course, there are many bagpipes where positive identification was not possible. We have carefully documented these instruments, which may be found within the "Unknown Makers" exhibit.
