Donald MacDonald 4

I've dedicated a page to this particular instrument. This is an exceptional example of early 19th century work reflecting Edinburgh styling and unequal bass drone sections. Consistent with authenticated Donald MacDonald bagpipes, this bagpipe has a very long top section that lines up with MacDonald's work. This may well be an early example of his work, or it may be the work of another maker inspired by MacDonald's work. This bagpipe is owned by good friend Andreas Hartmann-Virnich.
