No, this should not be called a “Glen” as so many are inclined to do when they see a cut-bead. If you compare these projecting mounts to those found on authenticated J&R or David Glen bagpipes, you’ll see quite a difference in profile. The distance between the cut-bead and the top plate is significant. Also the cut-in atop the mount is wide and tall. These mounts are all two-piece. Ferrules on the drone tops are without a bead but with very delicate scribe lines. The ferrules on the stocks have a very generous bead, which may mean that these are not original to the set. The profile of the chanter bulb suggests pre-1900 however that’s pretty much where the clues end.
