Again, so many interesting aspects to this bagpipe. The two-piece threaded mounts are unusual. The repairs are all indicative of early days. The rings are threaded and I suspect the ferrules and mounts are too. There appears to be scribe lines cut into the cord holders on all three drones and there also appears to be a bead above the holder on the bass drone. I wonder if this might be a very early John Thow bagpipe.
