Just so many interesting things about this set. Ten and eleven teeth standing. Mounts are not threaded. Additional combs cut where needed (facing mounts and atop tuning chambers). Ferrules are significantly larger in diameter than the stocks. Very “squat” projecting mounts. And, of course, the very deep rings with the top bead. This all speaks to “early Edinburgh” and has very deep roots. Hugh Robertson? I don’t know, but it is interesting.
