I think I pulled these off Ebay years ago being sold as “old Glens”. The profiles would suggest not. Note the wooden flange under the projecting mounts. Also the bass bottom has a definite bulge. Not “Glen” details.
It’s easy to see projecting mounts with a cut-bead and immediately think “Glen” however there were many early Edinburgh makers who produced bagpipes with cut-beads and there are many that we know nothing about. Without hard evidence they fall into the “unknown” abyss. It’s a shame.
