Joe Hagan was born in 1931. He became fascinated with turning wood around the age of 13 while 
watching a neighbor make bagpipes in his back shop. He began making bagpipes himself a couple of years later. Over time, he worked at Henderson’s, J&R Glens and Grainger & Campbell’s before opening up Clan Bagpipes. Health issues interfered and Joe was last known to be making bagpipes for Bagpipes Galore. I have no further information on Joe since 2009.
