Some additional examples of Center bagpipes. The photo shows Joseph, James, and John at work. This would have been taken sometime between 1908 and 1914 when John died. It is unlikely that we will every know who actually turned Center bagpipes. We do know that whoever did was highly skilled. I need to drill down further on this family. I have always found it challenging to identify Center bagpipes, other than those with the distinctive wood mounts.
