KELLIE, William Cameron (1884 – 1964) Arrived in Melbourne from Glasgow, Scotland in 1912. Had been making bagpipes since a boy, and completed his first violin in 1915. Made around 50 violins, and 6 violas, the last in 1961. Possibly made bagpipes. Named all his instruments after Scottish cathedrals or abbeys.
