This is a fairly interesting bagpipe. The very thick ferrules suggest an early date, as does the top-bead on the rings. It might be easy to suggest that this is the work of one of the Glen's however for me it doesn't add up. The brass sleeves aren't keyed as you would expect to find in a Glen bagpipe. Also the ferrules have a very small raised bead. All in all a very well made instrument.
